Andrew's Red Socks
After making several pairs of socks for Christmas presents, my son Andrew asked me to make him a pair of red socks with dollar signs on them. The kid is obsessed with being a millionaire and is always dreaming up ways to make a buck. How could I say no? I made these on two circular needles (Addi Turbo size US #5) using Lion Brand Wool-ease yarn, single strand. I made a stockinette square on the outside of each sock leg and then backstitched a dollar sign onto them. The socks make me laugh every time I seem them.
